| HOW IT WORKS As an MLS Affiliate you will need an active brokers license or have an employing broker if you are a licensed real estate agent. Your broker will need to complete and submit the online brokers affiliate form. You will also need to have MLS access in your marketing area through the local Realtor Association to list property. We will assign flat fee listings in your coverage area. You will receive $200.00 for each property listed on your local MLS. The sellers name and phone number appears on the listing with instructions to contact th owner directly for showing instructions and to present offers. You will not be involved in the sales process. You will not represent the seller! Your primary function is to list the property for the seller. The property seller/owner will serve as their own agent of the real estate. Based on the terms of the listing agreement the seller is required to inform you of a pending sale within 24 hours and fax a status change form with the selling price, closing date, escrow agent, and buyers agent information. The seller is also required to inform you when the property closes. Your responsibility is to input the listing on the Multiple Listing Service, upload one photo to the listing and of course follow the rules of the MLS by changing the listings status in the required time frame and changing the status from pending to sold when the property closes.
